Every WanderWild project begins by paying attention—to a place, a learning problem, and the people who will use what we make.
How a place moves through research and learning design into the form that best fits what people need to understand.01
Notice the question.
What is here that people may recognize but not fully understand?
02
Research the system.
Investigate the science, history, people, place, processes, and relevant evidence.
03
Verify what matters.
Use credible sources, field evidence, experts, local knowledge, and review appropriate to the claim.
04
Design the learning.
Decide what the learner actually needs and how the experience should unfold.
05
Use technology deliberately.
Use AI and other tools to accelerate work where useful without outsourcing judgment.
06
Test with people.
Observe confusion, interest, usability, learning, and unintended problems.
07
Revise.
Change the work when evidence shows it should change.
HUMAN-LED DEVELOPMENT
AI may assist our work. It does not authorize our work.
WanderWild uses generative AI where it can improve research, synthesis, prototyping, drafting, differentiation, and production. AI does not decide what learners need, what is accurate, what belongs, what deserves to be taught, or whether the finished experience is good enough. Those decisions remain human responsibilities.
